Points & bonuses!
Points:
You collect points for your position out of club members in the same 5-year age group as you:
1st: 20 points
2nd: 15 points
3rd: 10 points
4th: 7 points
5th: 6 points
6th: 5 points
7th: 4 points
8th: 3 points
9th: 2 points
10th: 1 point
Example: if you race in the Womens 45-9 Age Group and place 3rd out of club members you get 10 points, and if you race in the Mens 40-44 category and place 1st out of club members you get 20 points.
In the event of a tie the award will be shared.
Bonus points!
Double points for the club’s races: Left Bank, Australia Day and Coogee Beach.
An extra 10 points to all Fremantle Club Members who compete in the State Interclub Race in Mandurah.
Notes:
You need to be a 2026/7 member to take part in the club championships. A cut of members registered at the start of November will be used as the master list in time for the first race.
If you end up joining mid-season and want to compete in the club championships for subsequent events, ask for your name and age group details to be forwarded to Rebecca after you have joined so you can be added to the master list.
Your 5 year age group is your age at 31/12/26 as per WA state series rules. E.g. if you are 40 on 3rd January, you will be in the 35-9 age group for the season.
You need to enter races with the same name you have joined the club with otherwise the name matching lookup from the results won't pick you up.
