Group Training Sessions

Fremantle Triathlon Club has various coached triathlon training sessions run by professional coaches, professional triathletes, or high-performing age groupers.

We also have regular group triathlon training sessions where members train together in a fun and social atmosphere.

Swim Sessions

Monday & Wednesday Pool Squad (all year)

  • Coached swimming sessions to help all triathletes progress and challenge themselves.

  • Mondays and Wednesdays (all year) 6:30pm

  • 60min

  • Fremantle Leisure Centre lanes 6, 7 & 8

  • Bring fins, pull buoy & paddles (these are all helpful but not essential)

Sunday Open Water Swims (summer)

  • 6am (before the run at 7am)

  • Meet at Bistro21 cafe

  • Suitable for all abilities

  • This is not an officially coached session

BikeTraining

Bike Sessions

Thursday Bike Intervals (summer only)

  • Coached bike intervals by GK Endurance. Often coached by professional triathletes Guy Crawford and Kate Bevilaqua.

  • 5:30am – 7:15am

  • Meet at Raffles Hotel (or you can meet the group along Riverton drive). Warmup ride down to Shelley foreshore. Intervals are along Riverton Dr. 

  • Suitable for road or TT bikes

  • Bring bike lights

Saturday Group Rides (summer only)

  • Group rides for all abilities.

  • Saturday Mornings from Gesha Coffee shop in Fremantle

  • Check members Facebook members page for weekly posts

  • 2-4hrs

  • Suitable for road or TT bikes

  • Bring bike lights

  • This is not an officially coached session however members regularly meet up here to train together.

RunTraining

Run Sessions

Tuesday Running Intervals (all year)

  • Coached running intervals by Eclipse Performance Centre.

  • Sessions also include drills, technique & plyometrics.

Thursday trail run (all year)

Sunday long run

  • 7am run (Summer + Winter) - around 60 mins out and back, split into groups

  • Meet at Bistro21 cafe

  • Suitable for all abilities

  • Post-run coffee and banter afterwards!
